My re-remap visit took in the region of 7.5 hours :eek: so be prepared, take some food or extra X-Box games. To be fair, Michael had to replace the N75 valve as it was sticking, so it wasn't all re-remap time.

But seriously, allow at least 4-5 hours total for a boost controller and re-remap.

Same here, but they had to wait for the boost controller to be delivered from whoever makes it for them.

The wait was fine by me, as i was totally knackered after a night-shift anyway.

As an aside, when you take the cost v time into account, it makes it even better value IMHO

I agree, Carole (at Jabbasport) is a bit miffed with the deal as it's lost revenue as far as they're concerned, it's basically a very small charge for the amount of work involved, anyone considering having it done should do so before they double the price.

I have admit, doing a bit of mental arithmetic when i was lounging on Jabba's sofa, the figures didn't add up. They must be losing money on it.

Fair play to them for giving us the price to begin with, and for honouring the deal
