Hi,

Im new to the site and thought I would introduce myself :)

At the moment I am driving a Saxo Vtr and really looking into getting a Fabia VRS. I have liked these cars for some time and looking into getting one.

Just wanted to know what are the good and bad points about these cars and hoped that you can share ? :)

Well hello everybody and I look forward to speaking with you and hopefully starting my own progress blog :)

Hello and welcome....

Fabia vRS..... good choice

Hi and welcome

Welcome! for starters you'll enjoy the tough build quality of the fabia (compared to the VTR anyway)

Helloooo! And welcome! A good choice, you'll really notice the difference in quality, had a Fab for 3 years till 3 years ago and was pining for it till I got my Octys!

Thank you for the welcomes :)

Yeh really like them! Have been looking into them for a while now. Yeh will be loads different to the vtr lol.

Seen some very nice ones with good mods too! Are they really so good on fuel as well ?

Belated Hiya.

Yes, they really are capable of over 40mpg even when driven like you stole it!

Welcome and you should you find a Fabia the "paxo" will be history!! :D

As Ken says they sure are!

my jabba remapped car averages 50mpg

has seen up to 65 on a long motorway schlep

and has never dipped below 40 on a B road thrash

On the other hand, my Fabia vRS averaged 40mpg over 15,000 miles in 9 months. And that was with even trying to get good MPG!

Thanks for the replies :)

Well gotta keep saving for now. They seem really reasonable on price for age, mileage etc. Well my saxo isn't too bad for driving to work, i dont do alot of miles for work. But fabia will make a huge difference :)

What are the best mods for fabia's then ?

and thats from a 235bhp tuned vRS ;)

:) Hello, plenty of threads and debate on MPG in the Fabia1 section, I average

around 40mpg on local roads, hope you find a good'n:thumbup:

Not really, I've had over 7 hundred (700.0) mpg from a standard Octavia TDi110 (ok, on over-run whilst the fuel cutoff was cutting).
