My sentiments entirely - a Moderator's nightmare! But if you think that is bad, 20VTurbo.com has to be seen to be believed.

Agree fully with the previous posts. You wont see me for exhaust soot if Briskoda ever goes that way.

Trouble is many forums do go that way, and people also dont realise the implications of anything that may be said or posted.

Thats the good thing with briskoda, we are quiet a small group right now and the forum kind of has a family feel about it. Everyone seems to know everyone. As the forum grows though Who knows.

We have the benefit of a friendly community with very little heavy handed moderation. Hopefully it will never be necessary. I think there is a danger of moderators (not meaning anyone on this site) coming to believe that it's "their" website, and they should take steps against anyone who disagrees with them. That seems to have been the case in the thread in question. That said, I don't know any of the individuals concerned, or the prior history.

The koda owning community seem to be a very well-balanced set of individuals, I can't see the same thing happening here

Its a boring life on here as a moderator - you're all so nice and I've only ever had one report to moderator thread (even then it went to one of the others not me, so they then had to let me know ). I have never had to moderate a post which is a good thing. Long may it continue!

I've moderated on Hot or Not and am a frequent poster on the Wireplay (gaming) forums, this place is an absolute pleasure to post, virtually no flaming or nastiness, long may it continue !
