Cheers for sorting it out-was good to get the car on the RR and to be assured that it does put out 200bhp:thumbup:

You didn't miss much, he's a ****.

Thanks again Matt

The mazda didnt half rev mate!

Didn't think it was going to stop picking up rev's at one point!

I didn't turn up till dinner time, but i had a good laugh with a few of the lads there!

Ahhh , Mr Grumpy.....was good to see you

I am sorry I didn`t have time to chat , it was megga busy......

We was 1 short on the sales desk so I could not get to chat to you all as much

PLus I forgot to total up how much I blagged from you guys ;)

Excellent day , as always , you guys make it a pleasure

Sarah

I think it was Brownt_37's Octavia that produced 506lbs/ft of torque.

Big thanks to Matt and Awesome had a good day. Sorry to hear about your brothers Scooby hope it's not too serious. My did Octy, 196bhp, 205 lb/ft, up on standard, full Miltek and K&N panel filter happy with that.

Don't you mean slowly picking up revs? Ta, its a lovely little engine, perky and willing, just a bit slow.

Still 10+hp and 10 extra torques over mfr claimed figures keeps me happy.

I had a great day... who would have thought it that my 1.9TDI Octavia would have 506Ib/ft of torque.... its a mean machine lol. It was nice to meet and see people of the first time.

Did Awesome have equipment issues yesterday then, considering the torque figure above, and the inability of the dyno software to plot a torque and power graph for mine correctly?

Steve

Wardy, could be worse the Jetta had a 360 degree u turn on the graph

That was clutch slip. Matt has now reverted to the standard map on his Revo box, until he can get that amended by the mapper. Looks to be that the boost request is just a little too keen :)

they also struggled to read the rear wheels when gavs subaru went on the RR. They blamed the Diesels for chucking soot out and covering the lasers

Well they can't give that excuse on a FWD Octy run in the middle of the cars really :) In all the days I've been there I've never heard of that being a problem. And my Fabia's kicked out quite a bit of soot there before :)

Mind you, saying that it seemed that the exhaust fan wasn't doing much good yesterday - quite a bit of soot from the Superb IIRC, which seem to linger around inside??

Would quite like to get it back for at least two runs where I can get some proper graphs back - any comment Sarah? :)

The problem with the exhaust fan they have is it doesn't get under the cars that don't have a tailpipe sticking out through the rear bumper so when the soot starts hitting the floor it bounces off in every direction, if you think boycarps superb kicked out alot of soot you should have seen mine :) :)

No comment about my soot haha. Half a tank of diesel on the back of mine..

Good point. Perhaps the ones I've seen have had a directional exhuast, like the Fab vRS. There was one run with my old one, where you could see the smoke billowing past that exit door at the back :D

This still doesn't explain my wonky graphs though ;)

Ahhh, that was yours! :D

Impressive soot collection on the back mate, no doubt that's the most I've ever seen on the back of a Fabia, and I've seen a fair few!

Steve

Still not washed it. I ahve wiped the reg plate to stop the plods getting annoyed.

What did he say about your graph? It was like a heart rate monitor

Cheers Matt for a great day. The readings were higher than when i had it setup the day before but

anyway I was happy it didn't blow up due to running at 1.3 bar instead of 1.2 bar.

It was good seeing old faces and new faces and I will now be coming to more meets now my car is almost complete.

Sorry Steve, I didn't know your graphs were wonky, didn't they offer to re-run your car?
