Apology to Fabia Drivers

Featured Replies

I have been known to enjoy winding people up occasionally. Yesterday I made a couple of posts which have succeeded in winding up Fabia drivers rather more than I had intended.

I am sorry, I have nothing against Fabia's, I have nearly bought one in the past, and probably would buy a Fabia TDi if I was looking to buy a supermini in the future. Personally I prefer the 'classic' Octavia as to my taste it is better looking and a more practical size for some one with a family (ie me).

So please take my posts about the Fabia being Felicia Mk2 and needing rocket motors to be quick, as the joke I had intended them to be.

Please forgive me...................................

william, you upset someone? Surely not! :P

I accept your apology - even though I never saw what happened... :P

And yeah, the TDI isn't a bad ickle car. ;)

why do people get so worked up about it ??? its only a car lol

i used to get it if i slated someones mods on cliosport. ok they have spent xxxxk on it but they ask for opinions on it and i give them it. ok i dont pull punches and really say what i mean and that might upset them but tbh if they spent more time doing good things to the car and stopped wasting stupid amounts of credit on their cars i may be a bit nicer lol

ok that had nowt to do with your thread but still had to say it lol

:soapbox:In defence of William, the VAG 1.9 diesel engine dates back to the late 1980's. Although it has been reworked many times up to it current incarnation of PD, the basic block, pistons, crank etc etc. are indeed the same. It's not very often that a truly "new" engine appears in the motor industry.

I could see Williams joke straight away and yes Skoda do make a big issue out of motoring heritage so, like it or not, Felicia will have influenced the Fabia design.

I dont ever recall really negative or "hate" comments made against the Fabia, just doubts about the Skoda badge.

Personally, I believe the east european influence contributes greatly to the underlying toughness of the car (look at their roads, climate etc)

How about this one?

One day, I predict that VRS drivers will be regarded in the same vain as BMW drivers....:arge:

:flame: :flame: :eyecrazy: :moon: etc etc! :D I know what you mean but I don't think its likely to happen since Skoda will always be the cheaper end of VAG hence will not have the "aspirational" aspect of Beemers. If anthing I think Skoda (and RSs) are more likely to be seen as chav cars due to their cheapness

Have you seen the cross dressing thread :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::thumbup:

yep

William i am very disappointed... The Fabia is a horrid little car owned by twerps, homosexuals, cross dressers and people who are too short to reach the pedals in a proper car. Please retract your apology immediatly.

I have an admission... my home is not 4wd... in fact it's somewhat permanently cemented into foundations....

William,

Why the apology?

If you make a statement, then have the b***s to stand by it, whatever rumpus it causes amongst the rabble.

Published & be damned, and to hell with what others think of you ;)

Is there a ****** smilie?
