Yes but they are soon to be replaced with small bumpers and the gti kit removed. Going for the full on euro look. Less is more  Plus i got a free set of small bumpers

The best Golf ever.

Excellent, really nice car!

Very nice mate indeed.

My mate just picked this one up for the tidy sum of

That's the good thing about mk2 Golfs, they don't tend to rot that much. I'd love another one as a weekend toy......

Not to sure about that, seen some right scabby ones, Corrados seem to be worse.

Having said that its usually arches and such that go, not structual parts like Vauxhall for example that tend to loose big parts of thier chassis to the tin worm.

Yeah that's what I meant Ross. The Golf usually goes on the door bottoms around the fuel filler and the rear wiper but it's very superficial and easy to repair. Structural rot only really from accident damage and things like the fuel tank are plastic so obviously don't rot....

Looks a nice car Ross.

Main reason for buying one is that the rust is mainly superficial (not like some other cars i thought of getting). Going to replace the wings and rear arch's as there behind the plastic arch trims and tend to be the first place they go. Boot is good but removing the rear wiper anyway so will stop the problem of it coming. Bottom of the door as already been done by the owner along with bubbles by the golf badge on the rear panel.

my mate bought the owner of Dub sports missus MK2 Golf sweet as a nut it was cost him around

makes me want to buy another, i loved mine

great car mate
