Wow....excellent 125 race, great result for Brad Smith:thumbup:

MotoGP, well, where do I start??:P

Shame Pedrosa crashed after such a dominant practice/qualifying pace:(

Rossi, dear or dear. It seems that the 'Master and the Apprentice' have swapped places:P

Maybe Lorenzo was right to ask for the same money after all, eh?;)

Thought it was terrible for the presenters to show Rossi's crash repeatedly and from so many angles, I was actually in pain from laughing so much.:rofl:

Seriously though, glad he was uninjured:thumbup:

Top ride from Hayden and good to see him on the podium at his home GP.

Cheers

A very happy Lance

Good that Pedrosa didn't injure himself

Hayden - I'm afraid the guy seems to have lost the plot. Had it not been for the retirements he'd have been nowhere.

I'm still mystified how he was once World Champ.

IIRC wasn't that the year he won by default when Rossi dropped it in the last race of the season.

Bet Lance ****ed himself at that too ! ;)

BTW Lance, did you call yourself Lance because it rhymes with Northants ? Just a thought :o

Oh dear:(

Can a biker explain what actually happened to Rossi? It looked like the bike just chucked itself out from under him, he wasn't even leant over?

Got to be honest here (and not one to defend Rossi), it was an odd crash and Rossi didn't appear to do too much wrong.

As you say, wasn't leant over so the bump wouldn't have made him crash, he didn't appear hard on the brakes and wasn't so far off line to be affected by dirty part of the track.

Having watched it many times, nothing appears obvious.

Honesty, begad :P

My first thought was some sort of brake grab.

But I'm not sure now as I got the briefest impression just before the previous bend he took a very odd line / swerved slightly .

C'mon Lance, you could do better than that!!! lol!!

He cant demand the sort of money Rossi gets for one simple reason (well actually, there are EIGHT reasons) :P

Its still Rossi's Title this year :D

Totally agree with you on Hayden though, good to see him on the Podium

This one puzzles me?????

The guy was World Champion bcoz he was the only one to challenge Rossi and be consistent that year!!!

Looked to me like he was on the wrong line to start with from the previous corner and was HARD on the brakes when he hit the bump, wiping out the front :(

Anyway, cant wait til Stacey is back, see if the break has made any difference. I hope it has tbh

I tend to agree

Well said that man:thumbup:

and was HARD on the brakes when he hit the bump, wiping out the front :(

Having watched it again this morning, and shown from various angles. I reckon you're spot on. Front locked up as he hit the bump, and game over:D

Ditto:thumbup:

As above:thumbup:

I've watched the replay a few times and I think Rossi's taken a dive. Arsene Wenger is talking to Yamaha about a possible transfer to the Arsenal.;)

Conspiracy theory.

Both Moto GP and Formula 1 bosses have been on to Yamaha and Brawn and told them to stop their top rider/driver winning for a while to avoid both championships being over half way through the season, thereby reducing excitement and interest, thereby reducing income etc etc

Moto GP has been pretty consistant this year with Yamaha, Honda & Ducati (when Stoners riding) up the front and winning. In F1 it's been a different story and this weekend Spa GP was a strange one, which will bring on the conspiracy theory stories. However it looks like the FIA are looking into last years Singapore GP, where Piquet's crash brought out the safety car, which helped his team mate to win.

:(

Still don't see why The Doctors bike folded like that:eek: & why he didnt get on his reserve bike & potter round for a point by comming 15th.

after Pedrosa & Rossi went down the real action was for 3rd to 6th.

Well done to both tech 3 riders Colin 5th & JT 6th. How can there be any question ove Colin Edwards ride next year:eek: he has been consistantly in the top 7 all year, on a satalite machine.:confused::confused:

Would have had to have been on different tyres (prob wets, maybe inters) and therefore of little use.

I understand that, but as long as he was still running at the end of the race no matter how many laps down he was he would still have scored a point would'nt he?

That woiuld also mean that Lorenzo could not take the championship lead in one race.

Think Jerry Burgess & co missed a trick there:rolleyes:

Mr Foz......seems you are correct:thumbup: Have just looked at the results and seen that only 14 finished......a point could have been Mr Rossi's.

Melandri certainly crashed very late on and Canepa broke down quite late in the race. Perhaps as these 2 were still lapping shortly after the Rossi crash, the team decided there was no point in continuing.

Nice pun Lance - like that one

Intentional of course:thumbup:

Rossi is still the master on a m/c, even he makes mistakes sometimes. I laugh my head of every time lorenzo bins it, He will never match Rossi.

It seems so.

But not last Sunday....eh?

From a Yamaha Race press release,

"Unfortunately I ran wide on to a dirty part of the track at turn one and lost the front. I tried to carry on but there was a problem with my throttle and it wasn't possible."
