Save a few pennies extra, and buy new, you wont regret :)

BUY NEW, BUY NEW!

Hicksy :D

Whilst it may appear a little pricey, I can understand it.

I don't know if there are other silver ones with xenons and cruise coming in "new" and not yet purchsed. Also, although cruise can be added later, if you want xenons, you really need to get the car with them fitted.

So, unless you buy this one, you're probably looking at a factory order. Depends really how much money 3 months' wait is worth to you ;)

Best ones to get, loosen up early and go like the clappers.

Theres allways the three year, 60k warranty anyhow :)

Hello Ste, knew it wouldn't take you long to get over here...

Haha, you obviously did your research on here before buying! Going to test this silver one on Saturday, fingers crossed!

How many Focus converts do you think we'll we get?

Steve :tongue2:

Not really, I was on here because of my Dad. My research was done in his car... :D

Hi Wardy that car is in Warrington isn't it? Looked at the same one yesterday with the same dilemma! I reckon its a bit worn for my liking, the seats have a few holes in them, and its had scratch repairs!!

Sounds a reasonable price, if the condition is good.

I've had seat covers replaced under warranty in the past...

Yep, that's the one. Sounds a shame that. Will still go have a look tomorrow probably just to see how they drive.

Looks like I'll have to keep looking then, as I can't really afford the extra cash to buy new and really want Xenons and cruise.

Steve

Just out of interest, why are xenons important to you? I hated the last car that I drove with Xenons: just because they're bright, every plonker I went past flashed me, thinking I was on full beam.

Mind you, when I flashed them back, I could actually see their skeletons...

However, I've heard that Xenons also confuse police laser cameras...

Time to start a new thread on retro-fitting xenons, I guess.

Just for the brightness really, although I agree some systems are too bright but I haven't seen the Skoda system. The new Range Rover for example I think are way too bright!

I spend quite a lot of time travelling on country lanes and have always upgraded standard lights with better bulbs so this would be the next step!

And cruise because it makes m/way journeys so much more easy.

Steve

Exactly the same reasons I went for xenons & cruise... :)
