I'd have to agree with the others on opening it up to everyone (and at a push the VAG offsping as there will only be a few). You will also get a lot more joining in.

I agree, i think a briskoda london to brighton sounds great, all cars have to have the sticker though, just to make it clear whats going on, as the smart lon to brighton baffled me for about 4 or 5 miles

It doean't bother me if other Skoda's fancy rosking up to the meet, the more the merryier (dodge spelling :confused: ) was only making it a Fabia thing to see if we could rustle up enough for a Fabia only crusie down to Brighton cos the sight of 30 - 40 Fabia's in a row on the motorway / a / b roads would be great!!!

However it seems clear from the interst shown on the thread that this just won't be possible, therefore any Skoda's are welcome to come and join

But we do need definate numbers and not just "oh yeah I might come" owners

Alexst... Completely agree with you about the parking situation on Brighton, however what about the Marina? Is that ok for parking? Admittedly last time I went there it was a mid week evening, but there appeared to be mega loads of room for Skoda's, even the super sized Octy's

Any further thoughts on the "Petrol station acting as check point" idea?

I'll be coming back from holiday on Wednesday (only a short walking holiday in Devon) so will be checking the thread then... I expect progress guys and girls

This could be put onto paper and displayed in a window of the car.

Could get 3 / 4 to a page of A4, so would need numbers, so that we know how many to produce.

Steve I'm off work from tomorrow for a week so I will play about with some ideas and see if I can knock some sort of design up.

As for the rally theme, what about if we could get a few dealers along the way to help out, and see if we could use them as some sort of check point meeting point? It might be a good PR stun for them?

Good idea about the colour curl sticker!! Don't know how knay dealers are on the way down to Brighton but will have to sort that out after we have our route!! Fingers crossed this will be a good day out, all we need now is a shed load of more owners

There is a skoda dealer in crawley down, on the A264 10 mins from the A23, as far as i know thats on the way, not a lot of space to park in though, however there are 2 large laybys just of junction 10 which could hold about 30 sensibly parked cars. I go that way to work every day.

Parking around the marina and alond the sea front sounds good.

Ill be bringing along my fiancee... lovely!

Have we got a set date yet, and is this going to be opened to other skoda owners, maybe Octy Vrs and Fab Vrs? Or just all skodas!?

Looking forward to the day guys, lets get things going. Let me know if any help is needed?
