All I can say is soryy again for the lack of effort I have put into this over the last few months, family illness/close to death situation. Sorry. The stickers look quality, can't wait to see them laminated at Clacketts! Um... Am I right in thinking that the route has been decided?! I can't find it anywhere on the thread?! Also where are we finishing?

Shoreham airport sounds quality, however what's happening about food? Stomach filling is the most important part of the day after all!!!! :D

Cheers,

Neil

(apologies again)

I live down the road from Shoreham Airport. Unfortunately I am at a wedding in Manchester on the Saturday but if you can let me know what time you aim to be at the airport I'll ensure I cover the 300 miles from Manchester to meet you there.

Plus a little local knowledge on the food front should be of help?!

Where do you live, I use to live in Shoreham but have recently moved along the road to Lancing, Nice to know of fellow local Briskodians.

George

I just realised you can't write phillb (P h i l l B) without getting a smiley

George

Oh it worked that time!!

it's coz you used the : and the P next to each other :D

Food will not be a problem at the airport they have a Cafe/Restaurant which serves food all day, but there are plenty of eating places whether fast food or pub in the area, Shoreham town centre is only a 2 min drive or a 5 min walk (Across a park) I would post some pictures of the airport but being stuck in Amsterdam I have only got my laptop. A laptop with no pictures!

Just found the web site for the airport.

www.shorehamairport.co.uk

George

I live in Worthing, so i believe we're Briskoda neighbours.

I forgot the airport had a cafe, I was thinking the Red Lion would be a decent choice?

Andy -

Any suggestions for Marc to join at a convienient point ?

and does he pay

I live in Worthing' date=' so i believe we're Briskoda neighbours.

Ammended list, a sad alexst :( removed... have fun guys...

Stupid question but what side off clackets services are we meeting at as ill be traveling northbound and i suppose you'll be meeting eastbound so looks like i will be traveling further up to turn round:( .

Nice, we've got nearly 20 Briskodian's now!!!!

Any chance of knowing the route?!

Should be a great day out

The route is a secret..... Meeting clockwise side...... if coming anit-clockwise gopast clacketts and take the next junction on the m26side but keep the speed DOWN and almost imediately takethe A21 slip. Once on the A21 again almost immediately take A25 Westerham, and follow the Westerham signs. Onceon the A25 you will sign a dedicated lane on the right for M25 Gatwick take this to get back to Clacketts....

Find attached

The Car and Name badge for the day :)

Steve

I will have to meet up with you at Shoreham? Very tight time limitations apply,as per normal at weekends!!

What time do you invisage being there? Sorry for being a lightweight on this occassion but at least I'd get to meet you all :drive:

Nice car stickers Steve, a version with just the Briskoda wording would look excellent if something was done in the future..

Could do these laminates with the Briskoda logo in the top right with the blue back ground, but the logo in black does not stand out very well with the blue background. :(

Although I think our freindly Vinyl store could probably produce the forum header as a sticker. in the same way I did these lamiantes.

Steve

Just to let you guys know - I've just got back from Brighton and parking is a nightmare. I parked behind the leisure centre in Hove - some space available at 12:30 - may be OK early morning - best of all 90p for 4 hours - that's right 90p - your 30 mins brisk walk into Brighton. Someone more familar with the area may be able to advise, but I'd say avoid Brighton.

For information and realtime stats on parking & transport in Brighton & Hove see http://www.citytransport.org.uk/

This doesn't cover the Marina where the proposed end of the Briskoda run is [just read back & seen the Shoreham Airport idea - this to the West of B&H] (this is halfway between Brighton and Rottingdean as shown on the map when you load the webpage) There is plenty available here for free, but there is a limit of 2 hours in the Asda car park (on left hand side/lane as you enter the Marina) or all day in the multi storey (right hand lane when you drive into the Marina). Both can get quite busy during the weekend.

This is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre (taken as the Royal Pavilion), unfortunately the Volks Railway (1st public electric railway ever, 121 years old) which cuts this down to 15 minutes is closed for the Winter now

Locally the traffic wardens are called 'the parking taliban' and are very efficient, second in the 2003 league table after Birmingham with 160,546 tickets issued . So make sure you park the motor legally when you visit.

Is this still on as it is the weekend coming up? And also can someone tell me what to type into my GPS so i can find you lot, and one final thing what time are we meeting? :D

Walkie

Yes it is still on

Meeting @ Clackets Lane sevice station, Clock wise side( from river xig towards M23 ) :)

8:30 am for 9 leave.

Guys I will be completing the laminate name badges, please could I have a name next to your hadle- Thanks

Steve

Think mines on here somewhere but incase its not

Walkie - James

Following on from the poll I propose a 10am start (will be there from 0930) this will give people on nights etc a chance to get there. The Meet will be the car park on the clockwise side of the M25 at Clacklett Lane Services. The run should take about 3 hours max and if people want we will retire to the Badgers Watch pub on Telscombe Cliffs (to the east of Brighton on the A27 on the cliffs edge not far from Saltdean Skoda) Please update this list and if anyone needs my mobile pm me...
