I'd say they were defective if you feel you could not outbrake a Ford Anglia. The brakes on mine stop me very quickly at least in comparison to the majority of cars I've driven.

I think its just the crap design of the calipers on the Fabia...

the 312 calipers (or 288) have a much better feel, even without the motorsport pads :D

Agree with colin. The brake feel if much better with the 312/288mm calipers. Even swmbo noticed it when she park the car in the drive.

yeah but did she manage to destroy a set of front discs and pads every 10k miles like i did with mine :D
