Ian i'll make sure I say hello this time!

Me and a couple of mates could be going. How does the meet work as I've never been to one before?

Not a Briskoda meet as such, but it is free to get in and then you just walk about admiring far too many cars you can only dream of owning! Turn up about 8.45am - 9am, grab a bacon butty and a cuppa off the food stalls and waste away a sunday morning in motor porn heaven!

Just got back and already looking forward to the next one (01 Nov - "souped up Sunday")

What an excellent morning.

I man of his word too.

I did see a Race Blue vRS in the field which I guess was you.

So where are the pictures Ian - you're slacking a bit mate

I needs me beauty sleep. :(

Bare with me caller.

Why o why do these have to be at Goodwood everytime?! It's too far :P

I'm just gonna have to plan to be down in that area for one of these, me thinks.

And yes, photos please Mr Hedge

Steve

It was a great theme, wasn't it? I really wanted the yellow Ferrari Dino. Or maybe, to be a bit more realistic, the gold Lambretta.

I didn't see you today Lindsay and looking at your photos I think you were a bit of an early bird.

Very nice. Mine are on here somewhere. Be kind.

Hi Hedge, I arrived at about 8am and left at about 10.45am. Sorry we missed each other!

Right, I'll have to find your pictures .....

Good to meet you Ian! I kept the 'facial fungus' on again as I know you like it ;)

Great colours and 'feel' to your photos Lindsay - lovely stuff

Not seen you on here before, so welcome :) What kit and glass were you using yesterday?

Steve

Hi Steve, nice to meet you too, and I think this is a great forum. Thank you very much indeed for the compliment regarding my work.

Body-wise I'm not fussy and I'll use whatever I have to hand. Yesterday's shots were taken with a Canon 5D and 24-105L lens. If I know I'll have people shots to do I'll throw the 70-200 f2.8L in the bag (or an 85 f1.8), but mostly I'll always try to travel light if I can.

I'll walk away from a lot of shots if I can't get the light I want, always a challenge at a static event. My motto is that I try to keep things simple, and I never take a shot unless it's going to count, probably because I used to shoot film.

Loving the pic of the 'Breakfast Burger' .............. I'm hungry now

I'm looking forward to the Nov event too. The only thing I think they could improve is the knowledge level of the 'stewards' on the gate. Mostly they seem to know nothing about cars, and it is left to them to decide what cars fit with the theme and should be on the circuit or in the paddock, what should be in the on-circuit car park, and what should be in the public car park. As a results, you get a few strange cars in the paddock (SEAT Leon at 'Sushi Sunday') and some cracking (and relevant) machinery in the car park.
