HI, what did you spec if you don't mind me asking?

I asked for maxi dot, silver roof rails, parking sensors, multifunction steering wheel with bluetooth, black leather, heated seats and mdi.

I'm thinking of what i can spend too though, the columbus sat nav upgrade seems quite easy from what i've read on here and a 3rd of the price than factory fit.

I chose a blue estate with DSG detachable tow bar, bluetouth and a spare wheel. Stopped my self from going crazy. As reason for getting the car was to drive to and from france.

Just had my order confirmation from the dealer, the delivery date is nice and vage saying Dec/Jan.

Not worried about vat as dont have to pay it on exsport sales.

Hi guys, new to this forum, pick up my new VRS 170 TDI in race blue on 12 Nov 09. Counting down the days but downgrading from a BMW 320D M Sport 2008 which i had on a ballon deal. Hopefully won't be disappointed and at half the price tax free (only paying £13000, due to being in the forces in Germany and entitled to tax free motors), am pretty sure it will meet my expectations. Nice to see such a strong following for such a practical, sportyish, good looking motor. Never thought i'd get exited about a Skoda!! I'll Post pictures the day i pick her up...

Not really a downgrade is it... Just think of all the junctions you'll be let out of now!

Going back to front wheel drive from rear and losing 95 bhp I will need people to let me out of junctions when I get her.

I joke I cant wait for the new car even I would have to say it is a down grade for me aswell. That is if you want eletric heated seats 3.0 265bhp and a roof that comes down.

But if you you want a massive boot and a car thats good for cruising but can still have a bit of fun then its an upgrade for.

A 95 loss? You say you had a 320d. So that was running at 265bhp was it?? :confused:

he also says 3.0 litre so I guess that should have been 330D

I have currentlty got a 3.0si sport Z4 which has that power as standard.

Cant wait for the VRS now.
