What's the next car Skoda will build ?

Featured Replies

Was just wondering .....what car will skoda bring out next.....Cabriolet based on an Octavia....maybe a 2 seat sports car....what do you reckon ?

Well there's the sex-toy-named concept that's been around for a while, the Joyster.

I don't see a market for it though.

Maybe after VW release the Bluemotion then Seat get their own version. Maybe then!

i think as vw and porsche are now in together they will re make the 130r using an existing rear engine platform available in the group:D:D

May sound sad, but I'd like to see a V6 of some sort in the vRS Octavia.............

If the latest R-Line VW isn't a V6 then no way in hell are Skoda gonna put a V6 into the Octavia!

The Joyster won't be going into production, there is a car smaller than the fabia coming and a car sized inbetween the fabia and the octavia, bringing skoda upto a seven car range by 2014I belive.

I'm amazed they haven't done a 7 seater MPV yet - it'd look great with Yeti styling :)

The Saint has the correct answer!

It'll be Skoda's version of the VW up! concept :)

:D Now that would be very cool indeed!

Surely the Joyster was killed when VW turned it into the Scirocco?

Probably.

Same as the Tudor, which became the Audi A5.

Didn't realise they'd bundled the name onto something else!

But yeah, that's the most likely to be next :)

I have just seen in the history section a site with the Skoda concepts.

Skoda Concepts Cars - home It looks like the page was made in 2002 so now obviously they have built the Roomster and the Yeti. The Ahoj and the Yetti II look quite good

I would love to see an Octavia 4x4 vRS and can't wait for the Fabia II vRS.

i think a small city car would be a good step for skoda. and under 5k too

Awwww, please................................. :P

Will Skoda ever be allowed to compete with its cousins specs higher range specials(ie, theyre own versions of VR6, R32, RS, etc. You get the idea) or will they always be the lesser specced part of the family with the good ideas being pinched for Audi and VW (the Tudor?)?

Tudor would be great if it was the new shape Superb though and not those rear lights either :D

There is an RS... it's called vRS in this country, however.

No V6's as the whole group is downsizing engines. As I said above the new Golf R isn't even a V6  So there's a snowball's chance in hell that an Octavia will get one!
