  • Picked up the new VRS: 2013 Fabia VRS by Graeme_Smith, on Flickr

  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Bought another Skoda to keep the Fabia company.

Took the 17" spiders off and put the 16" L&K dark chrome alloys back on.

Had a Webasto engine heater installed :-)

scraped the sterring wheel with my watch :(

Anyone know a way to help mask the mark?

Got a pic?

Some leather feed should help, unless you mean on the wheel boss?

Nothing, I just stared at my car. Not been able to drive her for the last 8 days and wont until some goodies arrive.....

No pic, but it is at the bottom of the steering wheel

Bought insurance and GAP insurance for the newbie. Sorted out all the paperwork I have collected over the years for the oldie.

Fitted new headlamps, and also VRS seats :)

However.. you only have to LOOK at these seats and they get dirty, haha

I want to wash it but it keeps raining :(

I turned some spanners today... Changed the thermostat and flushed out the cooling system. Fairly mundane tasks really.

Topped up the diesel tonight after coming back on Sunday from a 1316 mile round trip to Germany with my Dad.

Had it serviced (55k miles) - rear wiper blade replaced too.

However.. you only have to LOOK at these seats and they get dirty, haha

Some fabric sealant (Scotchguard or a nanotech sealant) and you're laughing :)

Thank you for reminding me that I actually have a full can of supaguard interrior protection that I got from the valeters at my old place of work!

I'm going to get the seats as clean as I can and then put some of this on!

Happy days

Ha, thanks - and only #3 in the rankings :D

And yes, I'm quite good at typing!

Drove it to the garage. Drove it back £300 lighter. Ouch - and that was just for a service + consumables...

Cracked my 13mm socket trying to get the clutch pedal off. Back to Halfords in the morning and ready for round 2

New 13mm socket and 10 mins spent upside down in the driver's footwell.

Hard to think that little piece of metal caused me to lose the ability to select a gear. Still replacement only £29 from Skoda which was even more surprising.

accidently made the wing mirror spider homeless today by smashing the passenger side mirror off in a multi storey car park.. epic failure..

Bit extreme to get rid of a spider isn't it Tom? ;)

I just take the glass out, and then capture them.....

I have that problem all the time too... Damn them!
