i should be more careful tbh, considering the car only came out of the paint shop not 2 weeks ago.. i'm just glad i didnt scrape the bodywork, it's only cracked the glass on the mirror

Finally fitted my Briskoda numberplate surrounds and new/old/retro whatever you choose to call them, centre caps.

I drilled a big hole in th dashboard and fitted a boost gauge today.... Proper ghetto.

Just a wash and Hoover between showers :(

Washed it properly in the morning before the rain started, did a few errands, rinsed it down while it was drizzling, took my Dad over to Forfar to do the shopping; rinsed the mud off the sides of the car off while it was bucketing down, took my Dad and some family members (never been in a Skoda before) over to Blairgowrie for a meal out tonight.

Good news: just had its first service and it was free

Bad news: its got to go back for even more warranty work

Also found out that the Anundsen+ that was replaced last time it was in for warranty work cost nearly £825 before fitting

Left it at the airport, flew to England and picked up a Honda jazz hire car :-(

Yesterday, cleaned mine and managed to trip out of the garage door over the hose reel thing, got my foot stuck in between the metal frame and the centre cylinder bit. Spent 5 minutes trying to get my foot out before calling the other half for help. Who in turn decided to take a photo first before helping me :(

Washed them both then plasti dipped my wheels on the mk1. Really need to put some wax on them both next time as my beading is some what poor

Attempted to fit my Superpro ALK to my Octavia. Couldn't get the wheels off due to seized bolts so had to take it to a local tyre garage to help me unseize them. Got back home, wheels off but couldn't fit the ALK due to, you've guessed it, seized bolts! What can I do? I'm not the strongest person in the world, but just sick of not being able to sort it myself.

Leverage and a good soak of penetrating fluid.

Changed all 4 headlight bulbs to Nightbreaker Plus, the indicators to Silvervision, and the sidelights to Bluevision Plus. Thought about giving her a good wash then heard the weather forecast and decided to wait.

Had x2 new Hankook tyres fitted on the front and bought a Cupra splitter direct from Seat.

Got x2 shortened bumpstops on order.

Swapped the seats over.

 

This can only mean one thing...
