  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Love the photo dale.

Cheers :). Hopefully get more this year ;). Was very impressed with them winter tyres trying a diffrent kind this year to see if theres and diffrence

Was gonna px it for a 59 plate Scout but decided against it. After Christmas it'll probably happen so until then the work ramps up. Going in to get some paint work sorted ASAP, going to rejig the suspension to get a bit more nose down and sort out some new rolling stock :D

Mk1 had its Mot today, passed with flying colours no advisories, not bad for a 10yr old car.

New battery :)

Finished off the rear seats

The usual

Wash and a coat of Collinite 845.

Took it for a trip to asda where it attracted the attention of the local plod. Never seen a copper rubberneck me so much in a car before but then again it might have something to do with the 2 days worth of stubble, parked over 2 spaces to stop anyone opening their doors in to my car and the fact that I was wearing a hoodie in a 1 year old vRS. They didn't stop to talk to me but they must have been looking at it for a good 30 seconds before they disapeared elsewhere in the carpark.

Enough was enough and vision out the side windows was getting a bit obscured to say the least so I took an old washing up sponge and tea towel and cleaned them. Got some nice moss cultures starting to grow on the window rubbers too  :giggle: . The car is bloody great to own and I look after it mechanically, just can't be arsed to clean it.

Traded it in for a Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport TDCi 140, it was nice while it lasted :)

We'll as the weather was so nice I Gave the car a winter detail and wax to last it though the nasty weather we lightly to get:-).

Change the bulbs or fit new lights?

Triple way zing with a Suzuki (not) Swift and an Ibiza FR (slightly swift).   Acceleration no contest.  Glad I had the winter tyres on though.

Spacers on and raised slightly at the back. Excuse the dirt :P. Just need front spacers now :)

Dropped the driver's side window to clear the dew this morning. Refused to come back up more than an inch. Spent ten minutes jiggling it around a 5am before giving up and going to work in the Golf.

Gave the inside a good going over, cleaned all the dog hair and mud from the boot, put in a new air freshener to combat the smell of stagnant spaniel. Discovered that Collinite 845 makes the top of the back bumper too slippery for the dog to jump in easily.
