  • Popped to the garage at lunchtime to swap coolant temp sensor. I don't think it's the problem but it can't hurt. Going to swap O2 sensor later for the spare I have. Went well, all sorted in 5 mins. T

Finally got it back together and took it for a warrant of fitness, which it passed. Nine years old and going strong!

That's too low for the sat nav, at least at the top of the dash I don't need to look too far away from the road to see what's coming up next

Got it washed at the local tesco for £7. Now I can put my pastboy wheel stickers on

Found a faulty diesel pump and managed to wash the side of the car, forecourt floor and my shoes in smelly diesel.

Used some sealer/adhesive to carefully stick back the lifted ends of the rear passenger door plastic rubbing strips

2 new Michelin pilot sport 3's on the front  :)

Sorry, no, I meant your socket. Where it is means driving with the lid up all the time which would drive me mad. But it's not my car...

Ah fair doos mate. I jam my TomTom in there so I don't mind it being open. It just looks like the satnav was nearly a factory fit like this

Cleaned the Octavia inside and out and got excited about picking my Citigo sport up tomorrow :-D

Still looking great Rob, a very fine Mk1 wagon :)

Like the Skoda Motorsport sticker down on the lower back bumper - not spotted that before.

I washed mine today, cleaned the engine bay and swapped over to some Skoda number plate holders.

I cleaned mine with some Meguiars wash and wax and boy is she gleaming!!!

Thanks :) The sticker is new. Well it has been sitting the top of my toolbox for about 4 years and I always intended to stick it on the splitter if I ever bought one. Then I decided I have too many stickers. Then I thought sod it, I'll give it a go :)

Replaced the failing high-level brake light in the tailgate with the new one I got a few weeks ago.

Fitted my new plates

Replaced the air con pump. Just need my air con man to fill the system with juice then hopefully the car will actually start producing chilly air for the first time since I bought it.
