A couple of photos on the the way down of the top of the Yorkshire Wolds at Garrowby Hill. The rear photo is looking out towards Stamford Bridge (were Harold fought the Vikings before going south and getting himself killed at Battle) and York.

Any snow round here and more than likely this road ends up blocked :S just under a couple of hundred feet short of a mountain at 246m / 807 ft

Thanks for posting those. I have ordered a Yeti in Aqua Blue and was having a few post order doubts. After seeing your pics I feel happy that I made the right choice for me.

The front of the Yeti in particular looks wonderfully striking and I really do like it.

Just realised I hadn't posted pics in this thread, although they have been posted in others.

That is a nice colour indeed (goes without saying that Tibetan White is still nicer.... emoticon-0105-wink.gif ). I wonder what on earth makes importers not bring in vehicles of a certain colour - what difference does it make?

Thanks for all your comments. We are very happy with the colour. It's a pity that rosso brunello isn't available in the UK. The photographs were taken in the Wicklow mountains, just south of Dublin, on mountain passes called the Sally Gap and Military Road.

We could start a thread for holiday snaps of our yetis or of yeti photos in scenic locations.

Sounds like a fun idea!

There is a thread for photos which is excellent  but maybe we could keep that for general photos and create new catagories? eg Yetis on holiday etc... as you suggest

Well not a holiday for me, just a trip up the coast and not that scenic in a car park but you do get Whitby Abbey in the background (just).

Second photo taken by my good lady of the sunset leaving Whitby heading west on the A171, taking in the Yorkshire Moors on the way home. Demonstrates the excellent view forward and the fact you can see the bonnet :)

So why the removal of all the sundries?

Did you see the horn while you were under there, I haven't been able to see it from above?

Hi Tom,

decided with a sudden temp increase in the right direction I would drop the winter boots and fit summer plimsolls  , so back onto the 17" Dolomites and Goodyear Excellence tyres.

Having done about 1500 miles initially on the 17" over 6 weeks then since Christmas almost 3400 on 16" winters, she feels a different Monster to what I'm used to. Lot less give in the tyres obviously and she takes high speed bends better, quieter on smooth road surfaces but I don't think there's much difference between them on rough surfaces.

Sorry didn't see the horn from underneath, pretty well covered over at the front. Did notice at the back that the heavy plastic shields on the rear axial beams (part of the rough road pack) also protect the front of the coil spring.

Regards,

TP

It does look GREAT in white...Are all the windows tinted or just the very back ones?
