Official Yeti Owners List

I know it's only day two, but it is everything seems what it's cracked up to be and more!! Surprised me (and a couple of others!) how quick the acceleration can be from a standstill, especially in 'S'. Delighted with the colour - full on blue in the sun that takes a vaguely greenish hue in poorer light.

Great driving position, and (for our needs) a perfect size. Yes, certainly worth the wait.

Treated myself to a Aqua Blue 2.0 4x4 Automatic , 62 plate Yeti diesel. 6 weeks ago. Upgraded from an 11 reg 1.2 SE Yeti. Had 2 Octavias & 2 Fabias before that. Big Skoda fan!

You might give a passing thought to limiting the use of 'S' for the first 1K miles or so, satisfying though it is.... :giggle:

Oh..... sussed already  - the 'S' was a just button on the other half's car................. 'D' was where 'S' is now!! Humbled!! Still quick in 'D' though.... PB

Last post on this thread - hope it works.

Hi - am sooo excited! Have just taken delivery of my new (well new to me) steel grey 1.2tsi elegance yeti having traded in my rather long in the tooth 53 fabia. Am looking forward to many hours of happy motoring and wondering what all the knobs and buttons do! I am already confused by the central locking system with its different settings.....

You're sure to love the car when you eventually manage to get in  :hi:

Thanks Brian. Have now sussed it! Thing is it is far more sophisticated than my old classic fabia. Am loving finding out new things it does - discovered the see you home lighting just now - impressed!

Argh! Not Brian - Brijo! I hate autocorrect on my phone!

^ Brian it is, so no problem.  How about showing your (approximate) location in your profile?

Done! And I even managed a photo (not a particularly good one mind...)

We got our Yeti Adventure 4x4 last weekend, and got a set of steel wheels and 215/60/16 winter tyres the week before courtesy of a fellow Briskodian.  We love it, and get lots of positive comments from friends, colleagues and neighbours

You'll love it - but go a bit easy on her at first, with only 850 on the clock?  ;)
