The campaign has been short on the last couple of COD games, but then TBH, its all about the online.

I would rather a short, action packed single player than a drawn out long and boring one. Besides, I think it has excellent replay value. Tell me honestly that you won't be playing it through again?

Not sure where I am with regards to completion, but I'm getting more impressed with the game.

Some stunning set pieces, although it's got some very consoley "run-and-gun" parts which I detest!

The stealth bits are very good though!

mind Ive been on every night really and played nearly 9 hr on multiplayer and Ive doen the single in less than 7hr. Im on lvl 19 now just, and there are ppl out there on lvl 30+ even 50+

What on earth did that idiot think he was going to achieve by beating up a wall , other than smashed knuckles.

What do people think of the campaign on Veteran level? I completed it the other day and enjoyed it, despite a few 'meat grinder' moments and some cheap AI, but I can't help thinking it's far easier this time around than in the previous games. Strangely some of the tougher bits from the lower difficulty levels actually seemed easier this time, and some required completely different tactics - the run from the safe house could be done flat out on regular, but you need to drop back, hide behind the barn and clear the pursuit before going ahead on veteran.

It always perplexes me when people do that sort of thing, i've seen a few people do it and as you say they end up in pain with possibly a bill for a plasterer.

Also when people smash things when they are in one, brilliant, now you have to buy me a new control pad

Definitely easier than before. Mostly because you didnt have infinitely spawning enemys like previous games.

That said, it wasn't "easy", i certainly uttered some expletives, and had to walk away from the game at times.

How long did it take people on normal? After doing veteran first, i went back through on easy to clean up the chievos, and it only took about 3 hours from start to finish.
