Have you played the Shanty Town on the Special Ops mode at Vet level? It makes the campaign mission look like a walk in the park, and I'm still nowhere near being able to complete it. The enemies are free to roam and will try to corral you into corners and crossfire, and hitting civilians is a major no-no.

You can't even pull the trick of waiting up at the top on the ledge and picking a few off because they're wise to you and will hold back until you jump down I found that setting up behind the shipping container to the right and dashing across the ammo refills from time to time took care of a good few, and then moving around the corner towards the open building with the single doored room at the back gave me a decent vantage point, albeit prone to grenades.

Anyone been online much yet? If so:

So far I like the Afghan map the best for multiplayer and like the Rust level the least cause it's pure mayhem - as soon as you respawn, some barsteward takes you out lol!

In terms of weapon of choice, I'm switching between a silenced famas and one with the heartbeat sensor...Gotta say though, it's extremely satisfying to sneak up on someone who has killed you several times and then melee attack them:)

All in all absolute quality game!

I've left spec ops for the minute - lost interest in it as it's repeating parts of the game already completed in SP mode. No doubt I'll come to it again in a few weeks though.

It's only some of the locations that are the same - the challenges are different. The sniper avoidance mission through the Russian tank graveyard is very tense.
