Not anymore :( Now part of Federal-Mogul www.federal-mogul.com

Although they still have a manufacturing plant in Chapel-en-le-firth (Derbyshire)... often pass it when I go out for a drive around Derbyshire :)

FRIth...

PS who remembers when nearly all steel railway bridges said "Ferodo" on them...?

Now your showing your age nick that was the 18th century

How much improved are the vRS Octavia discs & pads over the Fabia ones, and can the discs/pads and callipers be from a normal Octavia, or do they have to be from a vRS, and the final question is - what pot are the callipers on a standard Furby vRS and is the brembo kit the ultimate, or does it lack feel until warm like mine Black Diamond discs & Pads?

And also pretty chunky, so factor in a set of bigger wheels with the cost of buying them ;)

And i think you will find that the Fabia front brakes (288mm) are the same as the MK3 Golf VR6. And no they arent the same as the MKIV Golf, they have the same brakes as the Octavia where you can just change the carriers (have done quite a few). But having said that im pretty sure the 115 bhp TDi has FSIII calipers as I have a mate on UK-MKIV who asked me to price up a housing conversion for him.
