AutoCar's stated that Seat has released an Ibiza FR with a 140bhp 2.0 TDI..

Shame :(

Latest pic, not sure about the werid eyebrows for the headlights. Maybe they are still disgusing something.

So are we expecting March for face-lift and September for vRS then?

(Decron: my cheque is in the post ;))

I would imagine they will both be launched at the Geneva Motorshow in March, don't know when either will actually make it to the UK though.

Hmmm, not much difference is there... but Im glad Ive got the current one as its more characterful than that one.

Is this the facelift???

Very unlikely source to see the picture but having seen her on Dragon's Den I wouldn't be surprised if it was! Note the front fog light arrangement, space for daytime Leds?

Sorry if there is some other post with this picture or if it was the concept car.

That website just gave me headache :wonder:

Anyone driven a 1.2 TSI in a Yeti? I would be interested to drive one myself. It would be good if they did something with the chassis at the same time. The Fabia is a great little car but I am sorely tempted now by the new Fiesta, just a cracking little car.

Fiesta is a good car but, its mega fugly and vastly overpriced... new Polo ftw ;)

I quite like the exterior of the new Fiesta but the interior looks like a cheap mobile phone!

The facelift Fabia should have the edge on engines too. The reviews of the 1.2TSI have been excellent both in the press and from "real life" people. It's quite capable in the Yeti so should be fantastic in the Fabia.

looks like they'll be making a hatch scout too? its got roof rails!

those chrome things above the headlamps look like tape to make it look like the old version im guessing?

The 1.2 TSI Polo is £14,500 :swear:

Over £15,000 if you want DSG!

I hope you're right, it should look a bit better without them and make the headlights a little meaner looking. Here's a closeup:

I would say they are there to stay, nothing else is disguised... it looks bit odd though. Cnt see a sidelight bulb... I wonder if they have put it somewhere you can actually reach it :giggle:

its just above the other bulb :)

Article reports that 2.0 TDI-CR 140 should also be on the way

I do hope so, as much as i love the PD something with a bit more oomph and refinement would be much appreciated.

Well... the Ibiza FR has one, so would be natural to assume the Fabia will get it.
