Oh bum, I like to use main dealer - and Western VW were doing them at a discount price I discovered, both when the Passat was done in May and the Polo in September - that was a pleasant surprise!

And they'll have no vested interest in any repairs (If required) so an impartial test!

A good way to go, as if it is the first test it would still be under warranty, so an independant impartial MOT would be the best

When all the faults are flagged get the Furby back to the dealers for warranty work

Not that a stealers would bodge an MOT surely

I'm sure she'll be fine mate... Both of my furbys are 54 reg. Last years mot flagged up the console bushes on my vrs as starting to crack... But apart from that they both sailed through. I'll get the cupra conversion when I do get them done. The year before they didn't even bring up an advisory....

Hello, Good luck with MOT. Probably you'll get away with console bushes split and require replacing this year.Plenty of info on this site to DIY console bushes, ready for next year MOT.

Neither of our Fabias (51 and 54) have had any particular MoT woes - an advisory on tyres and a rusty back box one time was all, but we knew those things at the time anyway...

Only thing my trusty old furby was pulled up on was the leaky vacuum/diesel pump on it's last mot.

Knowing Mikes car well, they must've been silly things as the rest of the car is spot on.
