This Is It - Finally!

Featured Replies

Well, after having my superb for 1 month I have finally got around to posting some pics.

I took a break from a long ironing session on Saturday ( yes that's right!) to wash and give another coat of FKTP1000.

So there's 2 coats on the door and wings & wheels, with 3 on the roof bonnet & boot applied during the 3 hand washes so far. This will probably be the last time I hand wash for some time, so I hope this wax last long ( as I've read on the styling & car care forum!)

I have just returned from my local dealers where both fog lights need replacing due to drops of water / mist inside, the front passenger inside door pull is loose, & I have an invisible pair of canaries in the back somewhere squeaking over bumps.

Very nice :D

But... needs more low!

It's a diesel 170 elegance, not allowed to play with it as it's a lease car.

it's this stuff:

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealants/finishkare-1000p-hi-temp-sealant/prod_589.html

Seems to last a long time, the last time i used it was when the pics were taken, and it's had allsorts of stuff thrown at it with the recent weather and still is beading on cleaner sections.

It's not a polish but a wax come sealant, so you may need to polish beforehand if your paintwork is not near perfect.

re the tailpipes, the car came with these as standard.

Have a great xmas
