Yeah, something weird was going on. Apparently it was down to diesel crap getting in the sensors on the rwd roller of the dyno. Don't get used much apparently

lol, at least I can't get the blame for sooting up the rear lasers this time sounds like it was a good day, wish I could have made it, would have loved to see the Noble, its my lottery win car

326bhp and 354lbft at the wheels

Apart from wheelspin on the dyno, it was misfiring

Had an excellent day yesterday, it was good to put some faces to names! Also discovered my console bushes were knackered, so I bought some Cupra ones off Sarah The day also involved a trip to Wakefield to pick up matt@theforce's old vRS rear bumper

My highlight was probably the Jag...who knew the 5.3 V12 revved and sounded like that! But then it went pop :(

Both runs at the wheel due to not having readings at the clutch.

The xjrs, pipe blown under the radiator, a fair big hole init too! now at preston jag centre. Run wise it was at its most power at its 3rd run, which is odd for a petrol and probbaly suggests it cleared the engine a bit. Made 177mph on the rollers too! The S-type R only ran to 4500rpm. Proved to be difficult to gettin a reading having up to 7 runs to try and get it right, the gearbox kept trying to kick down a gear for the guys(or something like that). the torque was almost instant like yours andrew and didnt drop which i thought to be kinda impressive. I'll put the bmws up when i get them off my friend when i can. was impressed at harrys despite it making a racket, i loved the turbo boost kicking in like it did. to the guy in the golf gti 'only' making 260bhp, i wouldn't worry too much cuz he kinda seemed pretty p*ssed off!

A much better day than the last RR i went to due to the variations of motors there!

I think the S-Type was indeed the 400bhp 'R' version, going by the noise, wheels, bodykit and brakes, but they were having issues getting the figures as it was an auto?

Yeah, pretty sure the S-Type was a proper R too, which should mean 400bhp. Issues were the auto box wanting to kick down - result was it was only running upto something like 4500RPM.
