Okay maybe i'm being stupid, but how do you get to this? I know its under the windscreen, but the long plastic cover seems to be only removable if you take off the wipers? baring in mind I just looked and its pretty dark out!

About 5 months ago i cleaned the 2 bits at the side as they were full of leaves, dead spiders and frick knows what else! Am I right in believing theres a channel right along the underside of the windscreen?

To do it easily, you need to remove the wipers, and unclip the black trim (it clips onto a channel at the bottom of the screen. Removing the wipers can be 'interesting'- a search should find the details.

Wipers off lol, you ll need new clips for the back of the trim too as they tend to explode when you try to remove them : (

yeah the guy fitting my windscreen broke them and didn't replace... didn't find out as my jets started spraying over the car lol Did a temporary fix with cable ties about 8 months ago

Let us know the ins and outs will you - our is also full of crud and I've been meaning to have a go as I get the feeling it might be where some of the slightly musty I get in occasionally is coming from.

Will prep the camera although some of my photos may include the removal of non standard cable ties

take the wheel off and remove the black inner trim its much easier dont have to muck about with the wipers or brake the plastic clips noticed the drain holes when i did my arb bushes
