think one of mine has gave up on me on it it says pa6-gf 30 does anyone know if i would b able to get the part from vw

I'd reckon that these numbers are material specs or some thing. AFAICR the VW ones are differant - maybe quite a bit longer on the Fabia's stable mate Polo 9N. Number wise you would need to see a group of three lumps of numbers and letters.

Mind you, if VW is closest and you don't mind getting this bit out when you are there, then why not just get them to pick one from stock and compare it, though I'd guess that part would not be a held stock item - so would need ordered, have you check up on VAG CAT or what ever its name is - that would be the best idea.

only reason i was thinking vw is because its got a vw and audi symbols on it another 2 pics of what it says on it

on another note the two little brass looking bits on the one that doesnt seam to be working are a tad silver would that have any affect?

righty ive had a look on vag cat which i didnt know about till rum4mo's post (cheers btw) and found a part number for the fabis its 6y0953123, had a thought about the polo on the polo its 6q0953123 will that make much diffrence?

Hard to say, probably slightly different fitting? Maybe the plastics a different colour

Only one way to find out fire sure. Buy one for the Polo, then tell us if it fits or not
