Too good to be true??

Featured Replies

Suspicious, but worth a look nonetheless! :)

Dave, that was in here a couple of weeks ago! Someone rang the number..Denis I think...but just got voice mail.

Agree..sounds very :goldfish: E

I agree with C.J.

There's a definite whiff of Halibut around that car...

David,

Be carefull posting Autotrader links as everyone can see your postcode on the search.

Cheers

Lee

David, I have changed your original post to link directly to the car concerned thus hiding your postcode a little better.

Oh and welcome David..albeit a bit late..

1st post!!! Joined in March too. Catchin' me up mate!! :D

seems waaaaaaaaaaaay to cheap, but might just be someone with far to much money and far too little concern so just wants rid

Maybe a CAT-D or something, and hasn't been declared? Or yes, someone who wants rid very quickly, for one reason or another.... :cop1:

Steve

you lot are suspious (sp??) old lot...says he relocating if i was and wanted rid of motor quick id give it away... as long as you stick to the rules of buying second hand you could walk off with a bargin !

Joel

Joel, with respect me old flowerpot...there's an old saying that I've just made up :D

If it's too good to be true..then it probably is! So.. :P

Or could it not be a missprint?

Wouldnt be uncommon for Auto trader, I advertised my Astra in there and got no phone calls because it was placed in the caravan section!

So he says...but then if he's looking for a plausible reason to flog a dodgy car cheap, relocation works... ;)

He'd probably be able to shift it easier if he priced it a bit higher - people would be less suspcious!

i remember this same ad was posted up some weeks ago. If it's such a big deal has anyone actually bothered to ring and ask the guy instead of debating it to the nth degree in here??

Jimmy..have we just woken you up and you fell out of bed the wrong side? ;)

See post 3...mine actually! Just need Denis to confirm now

He could just drive it down to the dealers and they would give him more for it than that.

It has to be a mis-print IMO.

Cheers

IMHO it has to be an insurance write off ..........and has been repaired .............it's got to be on the register , an HPI check would I'm sure reveal interesting results :D

right 'appy 'ed! :D Iv'e just done as you asked..seeing as Denis hasn't confirmed that he rang!

A recorded message..."You can't leave a message....this voice box mail is full"

Seems we aren't the only ones who were interested.

Happy now?

I didn't ask anyone to do 'owt.... Just stated the bleedin' obvious imo.

Happy now?

Not bothered either way. if it makes you feel happy then I'm happy

still thikn if you do the right checks you'd be safe....

innocent until proven guilty
