Does anyone have any photos of a debadged Furby RS, as I am really thinking about doing it for stealth purposes but I also think somehow it might look better.

I am undecided on the front badge though, I really quite like the look of it, so I may keep that one on. Opinions?

Also how is best to get them off without scratching the paintwork. Also, I wont be left with a mark where it used to be will I?

Used some to remove the badges on my SEAT. Remove any old adhesive with some tar remover.

De-badge, why are you ashamed of your Skoda? Suppose you will be sticking a VW badge and a Polo name badge on to replace them?

The Skoda badge will stay, I never wanted rid of that. Its the "FABIA" and the "vRS" badge and also possibly the "v" on the grille, since its beginning to get a touch annoying having chavs driving up my ar$e all the time. I want a race when it suits me, not every 2 minutes!!!

I wont be replacing them with anything.

i think you should be ok to heat them slightly with a hair dryer then gently peel them away. if there is a mark you could alsways use t-cut or simular

didnt work for my otcy badges..neither did boiling water... the badges them selves come off relativly easy its the gunk they leave behind thata hard to get off..i found the best thing (after trying many house old items).. was meths...dab on to rag and sponge the offended sticky stuff then buff/peel off..

My mums KA had the rear badge nicked a while ago, to remove the gunge I used lighter fluid, didn't harm the paint either

I did mine a couple of months after I got it. Used a hair drier to heat up the letters and then pulled them off and then used tar remover to remove the remaining gunk. Took a while to do that, but my badge had been on there for 3 years I think it makes the back look much cleaner, although I would be tempted to go for the 1.2 badge My pics didn't come out too well as the before photos were taken in the light and the after ones in the dark (which doesn't really do a black car justice! ), but if no one else has any, I'll take some more

yep lighter fluid is more or less the same thing..that was next on my list if the meths didnt work

Shame to get rid of the vRS logo off the back, although I agree it does add a stealth factor to the car. I haven't personaly had any boy racers except one saxo driver who gave up after a while (hill past batleys )

Nah, I've never believed in making my car into something it isnt

I debadged mine with fishing line. Looks nice and smooth now. The front can't be debadged unless you replace the grill as it has a section on the grill for the vRS badge to stick to.

Cheers for the photos guys. It does look nice and smooth at the back without the badges. A mate at work has a Bora debadged, and I do like the look of that as well.

I removed the rear vrs badge for this very reason, I'm now thinking of removing the FABIA letters as they trap dirt :(

Fishing line removed the badge and tar spot remover got the gunk off.

Fishing line is the best for getting the badges off as mentioned. I think I used white spirit to get the glue off then polished it up after.

They look great debagded, can you do the same with the Skoda badge at the back too?

on the octy i think (thats a big I THINK) it has an indent behind it...in the boot lid...

i coudl walk out side and hae a look buts its cold and too far away lol
