Prosport Boost gauge

Featured Replies

The Prosport gauges are excellent. I have them fitted;) I went for the electrical boost gauge not the mechanical boost gauge & bought them direct from the states.

may go for one then, just need to work out where to mount it.

Try here; http://www.newsouthperformance.com/Mk4pod.htm

Mk4 FullPod - Complete replacement for upper steering column cover - $65

regards,

Yes they are a good Idea & Awesome sell them too, but I do believe they won't fit as the golf Is slightly different shape to the Octavia so you will have to buy these Instead http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=5593&xSec=142 . I've got 3 prosport gauges mounted In the cubby hole under the stereo

I'm contemplating buying the column pod for my boost gauge as you can't really see It where It Is & buy an oil temp gauge to fill the gap.

I was told that mk4 full pod is direct fit to mk1 vrs, so I have order one....... :'(

Give Sarah or the sales team a bell at Awesome & they will give you better advice, but I'm 99% sure Sarah told me they wouldn't fit.

thanks

There`s two kind of newsouthper. column pods;

One from the link you posted is overlay pod if I am not mistaking and the other one which I ordered is full pod, first you have to remove OEM cover and install this one.

It completely replaces OEM cover.

Best regards

Sarah will that fit straight onto my VRS?

Sarah will that fit straight onto my VRS?

It will fit , but it will not be a straight fit , it can take a bit of fiddling :(

I really want one of those steering column pods, can anyone point me in the direction? I had a look on Awesome but could only find a dual pod.

Any help would be fantastic!

Not a perfect fit as you can see - but it's not something you really notice from day to day.

Ah yes I saw that one on your site, looks pretty damn good! where did you get it from?

I got mine from North American Motorsports in the US - best price I could find including postage to NZ :)

Don't Awesome do this one?

Not seen it on Awesome... cos they do have a large selection but not a single for the mkIV golf, think they do the double...

How did you route the tubes from the engine bay?

Cheers
