Who will win, Fabia or Cat?

Featured Replies

Well, I’m not sure to be honest, I suppose the Fabia since it at least is still alive, but I do need a new bumper, foglight, foglight grilles and centre grille :(

I was driving along the road home last night at NSL ±10% + 3 when a mouse ran out infront of me, followed very closley by a very big moggy pouncing out a hedgerow. Tremendous thump and shortly later I pulled in at a parking place and had to fish half of it out of the engine bay, not pleased.

Just ordered all the bits from Skoda and it is around £165 so not too bad, and waiting on a quote coming back from the paint shop now, I’m guessing around £250-£300 as I’m getting the bonnet and wings dusted over to get rid of all the stonechips at the same time, grrrrrreat :(

I’ll try and post some pics up tonight, it was too dark when I got home last night.

Bleeding cats!!!!

oops

One way to do a de-cat I suppose. Could have been worse, I remember when my mate hit a cow in his Datsun, car was a write off.

Ah, poor moggy. I guess it didn't survive. :'( I would be very upset, as a cat owner, if I ever hit one. However I like the comment above about de-catting. :giggle:

I once hit a pheasant, it did not do any damage, just pushed back the lower grill, which was easily pushed back again. Stupid Phucking Pheasants!

Went through the bottom centre grille/Foglight grille and up the side of the intercooler and radiator not pretty :(

Not seen it in the light yet, fingers crossed the other bits are not still in there.

You'll no doubt smell them if they are after a while.

That's not nice!! lol i bet it gave you a bit of a shock! lol

That being said at least it is not costing you TOO much to fix, a few months ago i hit a deer at about 50mph in my Audi TT now that was a shock........i was very fortunate that the deer didn't go over the bonnet and in my face lol in the end i needed a new bumper and Grill which cost me a small fortune!! New bumper, grill sprayed and fitted cost me £700 :'( bloody deer lol

As it was laying on the road i swear it gave me the evils (not that i blame it)

Just got a quote from the bodyshop, £200 for just the bumper to be painted or £400 for a front end Job, fantastic, the same month as a cambelt change!

Hit a rabbit once. No damage to the car but clean kill so in the boot it went.

Obviously that disproves the theory about rabbits feet being lucky then....

Probably for the best it would have only finished off the mouse then dug up your garden so it can take a big sh!t. Unloyal domesticated Vermin. Shame about the damage though, gutted :'(

Technically, that's illegal although you are allowed to pick up roadkill that was hit by someone else. I suggest driving in convoy... ;)

Looks like you've upset someone :D

Arrgghhh Kill it!! haha.

Don't mind kittens but cats make me itch, that's not the reason I hate them though. It's the fact that they're the hookers of the mammal world. Give them milk and they'll rub up against anyone, no loyalty at all.
