If you're asking me bud, they're 17x8. 225/45

Yep, was asking because something made them stand out.

Will be because they should be 225/40 profile.

sorting the new look for 2015, stripped ready for the new colour and dialing in that wheel fitment. 89E9A676-9144-41F4-BB17-E7EF5E9A5AF0_zps23CC882B-3BDC-43AA-A783-DB3BBFE660A1_zps

1 wheel design in 2 different sizes (19 from previous pics) look so different. Like this a lot can't wait to see the completed 2015 look.

This is the new 20" cast version from rotiform, it has a little more concave and a stepped inner lip, freshens up the blq a lot in my opinion, I originally had the 19" versions when I first bought the car and I loved them, then when I found out these were been made I snapped up a set. First set In the country too I belive

Have admired these in the 1Z facelift guise for a while now and have just bought one as our new workhorse!

It's a 2012 DSG 2.0TDi 170BHP common rail with 36K on the clock.

Drives really well,  smooth and torquey as you'd expect from the common rail lump plus it does between 40-50mpg depending on the length of your journey so best of both worlds.

I've added Eibach pro kit springs and spacers and a genuine boot liner and VRS mats to finish it off along with a personal reg.

I've been thinking about fitting the black version of the Neptune wheels that are on the car but I'm in 2 minds.

I've owned mines for about 15 months now, I think I've washed it once, maybe twice.

Its not particularly quick, but with 255 bhp, its not exactly slow compared with what's on the road, its comfy, decently built, the suspension is comical when at speed but never causes alarm but best of all is the boot and the size of the thing.

Its practicality is awesome, it utterly swallows the stuff I take to track days, it manages it with no hassle at all returning 30 mpg at least.

its even quite comfortable to sleep in when you pull in late at a track.

I can see why a lot like them, its doesn't excel at anything but its does everything well and looking at the market there is nothing in its price range that comes close.
