My newest project, nothing done to it at the moment but here the project begins. Was raining so the photos aren't 100%.

 

Also the car looks silver but it is the cappuccino beige which looks super nice!

Finally got my new toy home, gave it a wash & that's about it so far.

Plans for it are:

* coilovers

* 19s

* retro fit Bluetooth &

* full detail

Phase 1 of tidying up the front of the car.

 

I removed the whole grille, took the chrome off and put the rest back on,

The reason for this is that the badge and chrome have seen better days.  They let the car down so I'm planning on having the chrome colour coded & a new badge.

 

I'll post up the results when the chrome bit returns.

 

On another note, I've fitted some H&R spacers.  10mm on the front and 15mm on the rear.  These are to tide me over until I fond the wheels I am looking for.  I don't think anyone makes what I'm after but the wider stance from the spacers will keep me going for now.

Where did you get the spacers from dude? How much where they?

I bought them off a forum member last week.  H&R spacers can be bought form DPM I think for £90 a set.

Something on the lines of the Rota Grid, the Bola B1 or the many copies out there but in a 17" wheel.  I also want them in gold to fulfil another of my boy racer dreams - I never did get round to owning an Impreza.  I don't want them to be more than 7.5j wide and an et of between 35 and 40.  As I mentioned, I don't think these exist from the searches I've been doing, unless someone knows of a wheel that might suit?

I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.  To be honest though, the new badge would have made a huge difference in terms of looking smarter.  I went for the original design in the end as it seems to suit the pre facelift better I reckon.

I had a quick look but didn't find any so went for paint instead.  I'd be interested to see if you find any though as it'd probably be quite a bit cheaper.
