Wiper Blade Rubber

Featured Replies

Just after buying some wiper blade rubber for my standard set of mk1 wipers, any suggestions on where to buy them?

I've heard alot about the retro fit ones too but haven't actually seen a pair installed on a mk1 yet, does anyone have pictures?

I only picked my car up on Saturday and the previous owner has fitted aero wipers to my mk1 vRS but they are the ones that fit the standard arms. They do work really well but they do stick up a bit more then I like so when they need changing I will be replacing the whole arms and blades from a late mk4 golf as they do sit better on the car.

This is a photo of mine, as I say they do stick up a bit to much.

Proper mk4 golf ones fitted on mine:

This requires a new wiper arms rather than using the existing ones. One people seem to have issues with the aero's on existing arms not sitting against the screen very well on the passenger side.

Sitting nice and well:
