Hi everyone, I joined here 4.5 years ago when I had a Fabia vRS and I swapped that for an Octavia II vRS which had a few mods from JKM following great advice here . I then left for a fling with a Subaru Legacy.

I’m close to putting in an order for a Superb estate and dipped back in here to satisfy myself that they are as good as they appear and you all seem really pleased with yours so it’s decision time on model and spec. I now do more miles and the south of France has become our favourite holiday destination so it has to be diesel and I think I’ll go for the 4x4 as having had similar tech with the Subaru its something I don’t want to be without.

I’ll be adding the panoramic roof, upgraded sound system, rear side airbags and space saver. Colour will probably be Rosso Brunello or Mocca Brown with Ivory interior or Amethyst with black assuming these combinations are possible. Now I'm shopping around a bit for best price/lease rates.

Thanks everyone for all the posts in this section of the forum it really is a fantastic source of knowledge and owner experience that you can't get anywhere else and in 12 weeks or so I hope to add my two pence worth.

I have a SE CR170 saloon and it is a fantastic car. We have a Octy estate and the Superb. When going on holiday the Superb is the first choice for comfort. We went to Dartmouth recently from Leicester and arrived un-tired. Loads of luggage capacity and legroom for the kids. Lot of useful features and very well appointed.
