I couldnt have a yellow standard one, but i feel the colour loudness matches the spec, its no pretender :8

Tbh i wish i'd never bought it...

was in limp mode for a month due to a common fault with the oil filter diaphram unit! cost £400 to fix

it was also a spaceship to drive, vision was rubbish and the turning circle was horrendous...

then the MPG around town was 18mpg and on a run IF you were unbelievably LUCKY you'd get mid to high twentys....

basically looks like a spaceship, drives like a spaceship and will cost you planet earth to run!!

and the Fabia Hybrid is every bit as quick lol

Nice, don't do the splitter it's probably the gayest played out thing to do to a vRS. Do you have a dyno graph? Just to see how agressive the map is. You sure you want to go SMF? There crap for daily driving, loud as hell! Like the idea of the hybrid badge, im toying with putting the mk2 fabia badge on mines

No dyno but i will get it done at some point, the standard dmf rattles now and again but no clutch slip atm, ive had a helix smf on my last vrs and loved every minute of it, the bite was awesome and its a fit anf forget item unlike the dmf :) on this fabia it could do with a splitter as the bottom side of the bumper has been trimmed to accomodate the fmic and its noticeable, a splitter would cover this up :)

Blimey - you seemed to go through the Corolla and Focus fast!

Interesting actually as I have been looking at ST's recently, not because I want to change my car, just always loved the sound of that 5 cylinder engine - however as you say, its Very thirsty! Especially with the fuel prices rising like they are

I think I will stick with the trusty fabia, it still impresses me most as an overall package.

nice, havent seen many yellow 1's since ive been on here

Very Nice Looks really Well  .. Especially the choice of Wheels ;)

Curiousity .....

the bumper wasnt cut properly to accomodate the fmic or boost pipes and it wasnt in right at the sides...

this has now been sorted :) the boost hose sits about an inch under the bumper on one side :o

Todays jobs....

got the bumper cut nicely to accomodate boost pipe and fmic

had a look at the extent of the boost leaks (2)

had to get one pipe aluminium welded and i also need a 62mm samco coupler so its bodged for the time being :( - cant wait to feel full boost!!

also serviced it :)

nice car looks mint

What did you think Of the Civic Jasc? Too small? Or did you miss a turbo? :-)

Civic was nice, no i love vtec :) i only had the car a short space of time, stuck it on its roof :(

How much are you paying to insure this succession of cars?

A chap of your age with a propensity for tuning cars up and then rolling them must be greeted with open arms by the likes of Direct Line.

Nice to see you back in a VRS! :)

Not really im 21 nearly 22! 3 years no claims as i didnt claim on civic, this car is 679 a year fully comp with all mods declared, my st was gp 17 and was 995, fabia is cheap as chips, and i live in a good postcode

They always come crawling back :giggle: . car looks amazing mate. good luck with it.

did you also find the focus handles dangerously on uneven surfaces too? I did was looking at getting one a couple of years ago but on our local back roads in was deadly and unpredictable

Funny you mention that, I saw a couple of guys on the Nurburgring driving ST's and tbh it looked rather twitchy. Lots of lift off oversteer!
