Good accident repair shop Perthshire/Tayside?

Featured Replies

Got clipped by a lorry this morning. He hadn't secured the door of an equipment locker at the back of the trailer and it swung out and hit my driver side mirror and both doors.

Got him to stop and he admitted liability on the spot and I've got a witness.

Will need a good bodyshop in the area though.

Do I need to inform my insurance company? They've provided all the ins details and are not contesting anything. I'd rather not inform my lot, they'll put up the premium anyway.

They will put up your premium anyway as you will still need to declare it when you get quotes, they will ask if you have made any claims which you have (albeit against somebody else) and if they were fault or non fault. Even if you claim against the other party your current insurers will be notified in case something else arises from the incident in the future.
