When I emptied the last car for trading in the boot was pretty much empty although the rest of the car had a fair amount of junk in it.

I think I will take most of this out now. Can't get rid of the socket set or jump leads though, my car isn't always trouble free!

From memory, there's something like:

  • In the side pocket:
  • Maglite, 3 D-cell sized
  • Basic Halfords drivers' toolkit (not bad actually, for the money), plus extra 8/10/13 mil spanners, wire cutters and some random blade fuses, cable ties and the like
  • Ice scraper
  • Digital tyre pressure guage
  • Allen key set
  • Spare headlight bulb
    In the tyre well:
  • Spare coil pack (for the one remaining cylinder that hasn't gone already)
  • Hi-vis jacket
  • Little cheap blanket type thing that's probably neither use nor ornament if actually needed
    Oh, and just rattling round in the boot is a 15-foot banner for my mates club night that I said I'd take home for him after his last event. That was probably about 3 years ago now! :D
