Thanks for the photos!

Great day!! Great track session. Brake pads are now well and truly shot! lol.

Not seen many of the cars on the stand? Although, if you have any, there is a thread in the "SHOW" forum for those

Thanks you your the effort you put it sorting the day out! Had a great time

We had a great time yesterday, nice to meet a few people and try the fabia on track for the first time.

We've also got some really nice photos of the car, bought 2 from the guy in combe and have just nicked some of this thread!

Cheers! :D

at least theres a vid of my car!! bhind the roomster :( got me last lap! glad you can here the noise of the engine coming out corner haha

Here's my video of the day. I definitely need more power - I think my car must have been one of the slowest accelerating cars on the track. Really enjoyed it though, I think the first of many track sessions.

I just did the video after the stoppage time as that was a bit more interesting, plus the youtube limit for me is 10 minutes so this fitted in quite well.

Awesome pics, what Lens were you using Xavier?

I don't know about that, Simon (yellow Mk1 Octy VRS) said it was difficult to keep up with you at times :giggle: are you SURE it's not been remapped :giggle:;)

Looks like a truely great day out was had, well done to all and especially Jason for his hard work. Maybe next time.

Yes. Great day.

Used three over the day, Nikon AF-S VR 200mm f/2.0, a Nikon 70-200 AF-S VR f/2.8 and a Sigma 120-300 f/2.8. Most of those were taken with the Sigma.

To be honest, they're not that good (the photos, not the lenses!), and you don't need such big, expensive glass to get those kinds of shots, you just need technique which I don't quite have. Was a good chance to practice though.

I have quite a few of you, either 3/4 view as you come round quarry, and a couple from the rear as you go into the chicane between Camp and the start finish straight (I think).

I'll have a dig around and stick the others up in a gallery, full res. You're welcome to use them if you want :) Maybe someday you can offer something in return ;)

Looked like you guys had a good time, the stand was massive and looked really good i must say.

I was in the black Octavia vRS parked a little further up with the Ax ownersclub. Unfortunately my Ax Turbo wasn't ready so i took the Octy out about 4pm for a session.

Was quite surprised about how it handled on track! It felt quick down the main straight but it rolled like a boat in the corners and felt really twitchy and slid an awful lot. Im guessing the Federal tyres were as much to blame but it felt a real handful out on track. :S

I did smile and nod as i passed the stand because people kept looking at the Octy with it's briskoda stickers and thinking wheres it come from :giggle:

The Octy redeemed its self on the way home though, eating up motorway miles with relish and did me proud.

Doesn't matter how fast the car is, as long as you enjoyed the track, I did notice you took the correct racing line throughout, good driving as it's your first time.

Top day even if i did end up limping off the session :'(

mate of mine has done a small vid of my car!!!

track session

will be adding on board footage to it soon!!
