Hi,

I just simple wanted to upgrade from swing radio to bolero radio , but all the problems comes on.

The main thing is I can not found plastic cover which will go around bolero radio.

Swing radio have integrated passenger airbag off light and big plactic panel comes with radio as one unit and bolero radio does not have as the radio it self it is more smaller.

SO THE BIG QUESTION WHERE I CAN BUY THIS PLASTIC COVER AROUND RADIO WHICH COMES WITH BOLERO RADIO FROM FACTORY FITTED.

I WILL PASTE COUPLE LINK TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

MAYBE THEY CHECK WRONG ?

The first link isnt a Bolero, Its a Columbus - they are a different shape.

I imagine a Skoda dealer will be able to order what you need.....

This all sounds very strange. Why ? Because, my skoda-dealer had that piece of plastic over a year, and I bought that about a month ago. Someone with swing-radio had ordered that bolero-plastic and decided that he wouldn`t take it anyway. So now I have one waiting for a new Greenline-Superb. We won`t put bolero to it, actually JVC, but that`s beside the point. The bolero-plastic is absolutely, definitely, 100%-surely available via skoda-dealers. Or if it isn`t, they are stupid...

If that`s the case, your dealer is out of his mid. All accessories that are available, should be sold to customers, whether they want installing services or not. and there`s nothing to install, it`s very simple procedure to change that radio...

If your own dealer doesn`t want to help ypu, contact the importer. They will help you. By the way, the PART NUMBER is 3T0 858 069 1QB

The radio surround needs to be got from your dealer, if they cannot find it on ETKA then I would go to another dealer. They are not that expensive either. They wont find it in the accessories brochure, they need to look in ETKA.

Get them to look up part number: 3T0 858 969 1QB, about €20

3T0 858 069 1QB. At least that is said at the original plastic bag that still holds the radio surrounding....
