I have tried the cd print, works a treat, but not as good as pressit labels ;)

I allways use a card reader. it makes things so much simpler.

Aldi are getting a 8 way one in tomorrow for only

hehe i know that camera :) Wish i took my test reports with me when i was made redundant from the job :( Could have come in so useful...

IIRC thats a good quality photo camera but batteries are cained in it and we had about a higher than average failure rate.

God i'm a 5h1t salesman :)

P.S dont buy a camera on their megapixels.... the human eye can only see 2.0 megapixels without zoom, so unless you need to zoom, dont spend any more! :)

Nikon 5200? Any good?

Specs looks pretty damn good actually. Li-ion battery too! SD card too so cheap memory. Just have a play in jessops or comet etc (obviously not buying there).

TBH its quite difficult finding a perfect digi cam because there are so many made for the sake of making them, rather than looking at peoples needs and wants and doing it that way.

I'm a little surprised no one has thought about taking your photos to be developped at your local Jessops.

If you're concerned about getting the "right" printer that's "Photo quality" but ink doesn't cost a fortune, it's worth making a collection of photos you want to print and then stick them on the memory card or burn on a CD and take into your local jessops. There, they'll print the photos you want professionally. I don't see it working out that much more expensive than having your own printer which needs maintenance and has running costs associated.

Also, it's good for a girl - no "electronics" to worry about. Just stick photos on CD and take to local photoprinting shop. Can even browse all the girle mags while you wait in the local WHS :P

I think Boots do the same sort of thing, for around 20p a print.

What do you want to read Cosmo in WHS for though... I dont understand. :o

Boots are about twice the price of Jessops though. I use Jessops for ones I want prints of as they are few and far between. Most of mine either go on the web or are just burnt to CD.

Still dirt cheap when you look at the whole costing of printing digi piccies, including ink and quality photo paper.

Indeed and more people have a boots near them than a Jessops too

Fuji Finepix S5000

Great Camera, low pricetag.
