Swing to Bolero

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

Bought my s-spec over a year ago and am very happy with it. 30k hassle-free (almost) miles so far. It came equipped with the Swing stereo which is fine but I was wondering if anyone has successfully managed to upgrade to the Bolero and how they went about it. I am not interested in the Colombus as I'd rather use my own satnav. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi,

I thinking to do same from SWING to BOLERO

But does it worst:

1) Bolero radio from dealer I can imagining it will be about 500 Pounds or more

2) FIX cost as need to recode can bus? Still don’t know about that but can bus must accept new radio and all functionality of them

3) Speaker it self I think SWING radio have max 20W per channel as can not tell about BOLERO maybe more like 40W per channel So OEM speaker was design to MAX 20 W

4) What the difference DOES IT TOUCH SCREEN and 6 CD player worst these money? Still no DVD no GPS

In my point it is more BETTER to UPGRADE swing radio to after market radio as:

1) Cheaper x 2 times

2) More option then BOLERO

3) SUB out + more connections inputs and outs

4) Like - Kenwood unit with touch screen will sound better + more cheaper other equipment like GPS etc

It is my review point about SWING RADIO

IF YOU WHANT TO IMPROVE THE SOUND QUALITY (MORE BASE) AND NONE SHAKING PANELS - SOUND PROOF WILL HELP !!!

I DONE MY SELF FOR BACK DOORS AND PLUSES:

1) More Base from back

2) More stronger sound as sound more solid

3) No more vibrating door panels

4) Can increase the sound to more higher volume and sound great and solid as before feels overloaded – like none solid sound
