Hi,

my exhaust is on the way out soon and wanted to find out best price and place to buy replacements. Also, if there are upgraded exhausts i.e stainless steel for a bit more i'd be interested in that too.

thanks

Hello

It will probably cost more to go to the dealers for OEM than going aftermarket with some of those

well all i would say mate is with my cat back exaust ive got a lifetime warranty with it so, in theroy i never have to replace that part of the exhaust ever again!!!

Do you have a vRS?

If you don't, you might find it hard to find an aftermarket one for a non-vRS. You might end up cutting a hole in the rear bumper.

i swear Sarh from awesome GTI is on nearly as many forums as me!

its just a standard 1.4 16v 5 door elegance. Just want to see the prices of standard exhaust in comparison to the a stainless steel one. The standard exhaust backbox is on its way out and if its not much more for a backbox stainless steel I might go for it. There wouldn't be any problems put them together I gather. Just seeing what I can get for my money before I decide. Looked on ebay, seen some cheap standard ones but they don't look they would fit and look a bit different to the OEM.

I've always found it cheaper to get aftermarket exhausts tbh, least u know u'll never need to replace it aswell so it pays for itself imo

I know , bad isn`t it :giggle:
