Why does the UK brochure still show the "twig" aerial on the saloon - I thought 2010 models all had just a "fin" now?

The most updated brochure "Model Year 11 - Effective 25 May 2010" is now available on http://www.skoda.co.uk/pdf/brochure_superb.pdf.

Amethyst purple is now available for the Hatch as well. However, the bean counters seem to have taken out the umbrella in the rear door for SE and Elegance models.

And nowhere does it mention the panoramic roof, nor the 2.0 TSi petrol engine which is part of the 2011 MY announcement on skoda-auto.com.

Does this explain why my dealer has now added a further 3 months to delivery with a panoramic roof - ordered in March and now July/August quoted, and they have not been able to discover if the 2.0 engine is to be available in RHD!

Can anyone shed any light (thru a hole in the roof possibly!). Doh!

What I have gathered from my dealer is that the supplier of the panaromic roof glass is unable to cope with the orders. As such, Skoda is imposing an embargo on the orders specified with the panaromic roof option. The dealers can still collect orders with the roof option specified, but the factory cannot advise on the week of manufacture.

It must be due to global warming, that might also be why the umbrella is discontinued, hot dry weather no rain, so you wont need an umbrella.

As to the brolly, mine was pinched during the delivery process but the dealer replaced it in a few days. They are scrapped now I see. Raining here today but not a regular occurrence!!
