New Skoda Superb Fastback Design Concept

Featured Replies

I doubt very much if Skodä would be ever allowed by it's parent VW/Audi to produce such a car. Perhaps Skodä has grown up and needs more autonomy from its parents . The thing is ,and what I have gleaned from talking to certain dealers is that Skodä have produced a better car in the Superb than was originally intended. The fact is that it is actually taking sales away from the so called Premium :dull: arms of the group (apart from the R8 which is stunning). The CEO of Skodä has been replaced, and I wonder if it is partly the reason for this. Were they ever supposed to manufacture such a Superb vehicle as they have?

If ,and I say if they were ever sanctioned to produce a Fastback design then I would be at the head of the queue in placing an order.

Well it wasnt long ago, superb owners were talking about the possibility of an estate version looming on the horizon...and after what seemed eternity, its finally arrived...and an excellent job it is too......so who knows....maybe the fast back version might well appear, after all, now that the v6 3.6ltr engine is available, the fastback could be on the horizon....fitted with twin turbo.s and pumping out 300-400 bhp.

I know the skoda jokes have all but dried up.....but wouldnt it be nice to actually have the ultimate skoda and have the last laugh at the same time

Opel Monza 2010, only GM don't have the balls to build it, lets hope Skoda are allowed to.

Well we all know skoda has been building anything that moves basically over the years....from bikes to tanks.....so if vw has any sense they should let skoda build what they see fit.....after all they are all in it together...balls or no balls :giggle: .....besides all revenue made by all models owned by the vw company will show vw themselves that maybe they should have a good look at their own departments and come up with a model that actually outsells the lesser brands like skoda or seat......but untill then.....they should give skoda a chance to prove what they can actually come up with.....and look into the vw backroom staff and have a good look as to why skoda is outselling certain models compared to the vw brand.......trouble is.......vw dont have the balls to admit that the skoda is basically a better car !!
