Washer jet adjustment.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My 2000 Octavia needs a washer jet adjustment, the passenger side is perfect but the drivers side only wets the sunroof. Is there any adjustment on these? If so, how?

i use a pin to adjust washer jets normally, put the pin in the jet hole aim it and then squirt away. keep adjusting to suit

Yeah have done that with previous cars but these are plastic slots with no obvious adjustment.......

I think you have to replace them, from what I remember they are pretty cheap from Skoda.

Cool, thanks will nip in when I'm passing next.

No you can adjust them with a pin. It needs to be a thicker pin as the jets are quite firm, They can be adjusted as I have done mine a few times.

Takes a few goes to get them right position. I am soon to junk mine and fit older peugeot 405 spray bars that go along the wiper arm. This way they spray water right where you want them just in front of the wiper blade.

I kept meaning to buy some heated jets, but never got around to it.... :-(
