VCDS 1.8 T Limp Mode

Featured Replies

If a car enters limp mode will the requested boost (block 115) drop?

Might be a silly question but hooked vag-com up to to a 1.8t Ibiza and it drove like it was in limp mode, requested boost seemed normal but actual boost was way off ?

Yes it would if it was actually in limp mode. Any fault codes? N75 valve working ok?

Good bet that's a faulty fuel pump relay. It's a 40 amp beast and supplies all the listed components.

Agreed. :)

Thanks guys will look in to it

Crickey that's a nice list!

As the two gents above have said, checking the fuel pump relay would be a good start. Look for a black relay with "109" written on it in white, in the relay panel

under the dash.
