I completely agree. The lines of the last two gens of Ibiza are horrible. The first generation Leon looks like a dodgems car and the second gen looks like an egg on wheels.

They're just Skodas for chavs and pikeys and nothing in those pictures persuades me otherwise. Each to their own I suppose.

I don't know enough Seat owners to say if I can agree with such a sweeping statement about the ownership demographic, but one thing I can say, in my experience, the apparent intelligence of posters on SCN is, on the whole, lower than those on briskoda. I think the combination of a lower aged driver and more users means that the idiot-to-normal ratio is therefore raised sadly. For the large part though it's a really informative site with good humour similar to this one.

They were £150 delivered, although I did have more sprayed fpr an extra £40. Soon sold mine on though but there are some available occasionally on the sold section on Seatcupra.net

I will bring this back to Skoda's however as yesterday I finally ordered a vRS race blue DSG CR hatchback with rear parking sensors, and ipod connection and the Eibach springs. Due w/c 25th October so a bit of a wait but still before the second child is due. The Leon has been immense over the last 3 years and 98,000 miles, every mile a joy.

My exhaust was a standard Seat OEM part though. I consider barry boy styles to be aftermarket jobs

I consider them to be any offensive item, be it fitted by the (blind?) OEM or an aftermarket fitment. Particularly when the offensive item(s) make a mid-sized family hatch look like a wheelbarrow from behind.

Was rather amusing when the car infront pulled over, certainly gave them something to think about, especially round the island

tbh mate, its people like you that annoy me. If it doesnt conform to your standards/opinions/ideals then it regarded as rubbish or chavy. Fair enough, it might not be to everyone's taste which is understandable, but to make such sweeping statements without reason, makes no sense. Never said that being 60 automatically makes you have good taste, but at least he is trying and enjoying playing about with cars. When he was younger, he modified and raced mini cooper S's, nothing to look at but went like **** off a shovel. Now he's came back ful circle and is back into the modifying scene.

I'm giving him credit because NONE of my friends dad's have re-kindled their youth by "doing up" their car. I may be in the minority, but i think its good seeing the "older generation" doing things they enjoyed when younger.

I co-own a very succesful internet business so I may need to change it's title to alert my customer base that I'm a chav. . I have a second child due in November hence my wish for a larger car
